Developers Menta Redrow are mounting an ambition outlining their revised plans for the second phase of their developments in Cherry Orchard Road and Cherry Orchard Gardens.
Residents have moved into the first buildings to be built as part of the Morello scheme and will outline its new vision for the remainder of the site next to East Croydon station.
The second phase will feature around 440 new homes, including a shared ownership element, as well as completion of the bridge at East Croydon station which will provide an east-west link from Addiscombe to the town centre.
The developers say the new pedestrian entrance into the station will be via a high-quality landscaped public space, new stairs and a temporary link structure connecting to the existing bridge.
There will also be “café-culture” retail on the ground floor to create a sense of arrival at the station entrance and a multi-functional amenity space.
The exhibition takes place at Ark Oval Primary School in Cherry Orchard Road from 5-8pm on Thursday, May 18, and 11am-2pm on Saturday, May 20.
