M&G Real Estate has signed international software company Solium to Renaissance, its high-spec office building adjacent to East Croydon station.
Solium’s decision to relocate from existing premises in the town to Renaissance highlights the role that Grade A offices have to play in nurturing the technology sector in emerging locations such as Croydon, which is home to an increasingly prominent and thriving ‘tech city’.
The software company has signed for 10,400 sq ft in the 102,275 sq ft building.
Sam Jones, asset manager at M&G Real Estate, said: “The deal with Solium represents an excellent letting for us and underlines Croydon’s growing reputation as a hub for technology companies.
“Renaissance’s location, high quality specification and excellent value presents an ideal alternative to Central London for companies seeking to strike a balance between affordability and connectivity.”
