Develop Croydon partners Craig Marks and Martin Skinner played a crucial role in helping the 2018 MIPIM Tennis Classic raise in excess of £35,000 for LandAid.
The competition, facilitated by White Label, is now in its fourth year having been created by Skinner, CEO of Inspired Asset Management, and his fellow founding partners in 2015.
This year’s event saw 28 players do battle at the Cannes Tennis Club earlier this month.
Lucy Arthur and Simon Osborne, from AshbyCapital, eventually emerged worthy winners but the main aim of the morning was to bring in as much money for LandAid as possible. The property industry’s charity aims to end youth homelessness in the UK.
Marks, CEO of regeneration specialists Menta – a Develop Croydon partner – lead the way, raising a fantastic £1,605 from his own personal sponsorship.
The total figure is still being calculated, with money continuing to be donated, but is well in excess of £35,000 – a huge increase in last year’s record of £20,217.
